Welcome to UP SOLAIR!

The SOLAIR Student Council 2009-2010 would like to welcome the new (and old) students of our College.

To make your first week truly memorable, we are inviting you to participate in the traditional SOLAIR Welcome Grand Salubong to meet the new students, give survival tips and introduce the Student Council, Faculty and Staff and other members of the UP SOLAIR Community. This event will be held tomorrow, 20 June 2009 from 12:00-1:00 pm at the SOLAIR Posh Grounds. Free lunch will be served.

Also, we are inviting those who would like to be a part of the SOLAIR Volunteer Corps. This is a very good opportunity to help the SOLAIR SC in organizing projects and activities for the College. I promise you, this is a truly rewarding and amazing experience.

Council Events this June

 

Book Launching Invitation – Vignettes of the Informal Workers

As part of the SOLAIR Week celebration, as early as now we are inviting everyone to the book launching of  “Vignettes of  Informal Workers” – a collection of essay/research conducted by SOLAIR students.  This will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009, 4:00PM at the Student-Alumni Social Hall of the college.

 

Updates on the Enlistment Schedule and Opening of Classes

Dear fellow SOLAIRIANS,

UP Diliman Chancellor Sergio Cao relayed in a text message to the UP Diliman community yesterday that the OPENING OF CLASSES will be moved to 16 June 2009. Thus, our SOLAIR WELCOME GRAND SALUBONG will also be moved to 20 June 2009, 12-1 pm at the SOLAIR POSH.

Lastly, the enlistment schedule was extended from 8-10 June 2009. You may visit UP SOLAIR from 8 am – 5pm to enroll for your subjects.

First Semester AY 2009-2010 Enlistment Schedule

Good day SOLAIRIANS,

The summer season is now officially OVER! : ) As we prepare again for school, let the UP SOLAIR SC share with you the enlistment schedule for the first semester:

Start of Enlistment: 2 June (Tuesday) – 5 June (Friday) 2009
Venue: UP SOLAIR Auditorium
Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

OPENING OF CLASSES: 9 June 2009
UP SOLAIR WELCOME SALUBONG (to be hosted by the Student Council): 13 June 2009 (12-1 pm, UP SOLAIR Posh Area). Everyone’s invited!

The results of the CRS Online maybe viewed online from time to time (I have checked it earlier but the system’s down). Otherwise, you may claim to Ms. Naty your preenlistment results on the FIRST DAY OF ENLISTMENT.

Feel free to share your wonderful summer memories to us. We are all excited to see you next week.
